The REGENERAR project was prominently featured at the 2nd MIA Portugal Ageing Spring School 2024, held from May 27-29 in Coimbra. This three-day event brought together leading experts in the field of ageing to discuss the latest research and developments, fostering meaningful exchanges on how to tackle the challenges associated with ageing.

Professor Lino Ferreira, from the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology and Universidade de Coimbra, played a key role in the event, contributing to discussions on “System Ageing.” During sessions focused on “Cardiovascular Ageing” and “Ageing, New Methodologies and Interventions,” he introduced REGENERAR – a Horizon Europe-funded project that aims to revolutionize the treatment of neurological disorders through innovative gene-editing technologies.
